About the event

We will focus mainly on the carbine but bring your pistol rigs too, as we will do multiple transitions. We will NOT be spending time getting zeros. This needs to be done before getting to class. Also, your equipment needs to be installed and ready to go. Previously we have taken way too much time getting everyone's new stuff mounted and zeroed and it takes away from learning time. This needs to occur in the Carbine 101 class. We will learn about height over bore offsets, point shooting, recoil control, rifle reloads, positional shooting under stress, and quick target acquisitions. We will advance to moving and shooting in real-life type scenarios, not just walking and shooting. You will get to see the effects of shooting with your rifle turned to the side as if shooting under a car and you will get to document those results. You will learn how to clear the hardest of malfunctions and time permitting, learn to do it with a mock injury.  If vehicles are available (most of the time they are) we will shoot from in and around the vehicles. This class will be great for the carbine enthusiast and will be a great class to attend to help you win a gunfight should that need ever arise. You will need to be in decent physical condition as fighting around vehicles is strenuous. If you are not able to do it let the instructor know and we will tailor runs for you. Sign up today! 350 rifle/50 pistol.
