Advanced Pistol 1 (11/6/21)

This class is for the shooter that wants to take his/her shooting to the next level. We will build upon the techniques learned in the basic handgun 101 class to more advanced shooting techniques. This class is designed for a more active shooter. This class will be good for anyone thinking of starting to do any kind of competition or want to place higher at the matches you have been attending. You need to have taken some type of handgun class to sign up for this class. You don’t have to have my Handgun 101 course but at least something similar. Advanced Handgun 2 will be the following day. If you sign up for both you will receive a discount code in your registration email for the Advanced 2 class. This class is not meant to be a shooting from concealment class. Please use an outside the waistband type holster and pistol mags.

We are now offering quality ammunition from Stand 1 Armory that you can purchase with your ticket in increments of 250 rounds. Your ammo will be waiting for you at the class and you will save the cost of shipping.

Subjects Covered:

Recap and mastering of the basics,  Multiple Targets/Follow up shots, Vertical Moving and shooting, Reloads, Malfunction Clearances, One-handed shooting, “Other strong hand” shooting (Shawn’s way of saying weak hand).

Requirements:

• A Pistol and 350 rounds of ammunition (With the current ammo situation you can always self regulate and shoot less)
• Eye and ear protection
• Holster with belt and Pistol mag holders
• At least three pistol magazines
