Hand to Hand Combatives

This class is for that time when the gun is not an option or you can't get to your gun.  Most problems are not gun problems and you need to have other options available.  The class will consist of managing someone in the clinch- a position in which two standing individuals have grabbed ahold of one another. There will be a heavy emphasis placed on escaping or reversing bad positions i.e. mount, side control, and defending the choke.  We will also cover accessing weapons at the appropriate time and fighting to your feet.  Bring your concealment holster as we will work toward getting to the gun at some point. You will not need your firearm. You do not have to have any prior training to take this class as you will be paired up with a partner with similar skill sets. Apparel for this class is what you normally wear in the summer.   

This class will be lead by KranFTG instructor Shawn Casey who has over 15 years of Brazilian Jujitsu experience as well as being a Law Enforcement Defensive Tactics instructor.
