About the event
When you need to defend yourself it is probably going to be in the worst possible time and location (Murphy's Law). If that happens to be at night or in a dark environment, you are going to need light. This class will teach you the techniques you will need to survive a gunfight in low light conditions with both pistol and rifle. You will need a handheld light to take this course even if you have a weapon-mounted pistol light. Your rifle should have a light mounted to it. Some of the topics you will see in this course are:
Intro to low light and definitions (lumens v candela etc), the science behind the human eye and interaction with light, functions of light use, handheld light positions, handheld light vs weapon-mounted light, photonic barriers and intermediary barriers, handheld position drills, searching techniques and moving from/to cover, barricade work, vehicle work inside and out. 400 pistol rounds and 200 rifle are needed for the course.
This is not a beginner course.
We are now offering quality ammunition from Stand 1 Armory that you can purchase with your ticket in increments of 250 rounds. Your ammo will be waiting for you at the class and you will save the cost of shipping.
